suspension

lately, i’ve been wanting to see the world in black and white.  it’s not something i can explain precisely, perhaps it’s the time of year when time seems to be one suspended moment from the next, with me caught in between.

here’s one taken at the yokohama ferry terminal.  i feel like i could just keep walking along the boardwalk forever.

i drew a diagram the other day, right smack in the middle of nowhere, the ideas started connecting before i knew it … voila.  i had a little sketch.  it wasn’t much, but each little sketch, each little scribble is a start.  for all i know, each could be the start of something different; but i’ve always believed that every thing connects to every thing else.  somehow.

by God’s grace, i know of at least one other person who believes so too.
