lx3 lumix oyster case

just when i thought i’d have to settle for a crumpler (which had cheery colours but whose price seemed to me to be a little extravagant) or a lowepro (which was reliable looking but did not yield a snug fit), i stumbled on a nice black oyster shell case that fit the LX3 to a tee! it’s padded on the insides and the oyster-shell gives a nice sturdy feel that keeps it shape even if squeezed from the sides. on the back is a carabiner and a belt loop. it’s sealed by double-zips which works for me because i’m not a great fan of ripping velcro. the nice shop lady said it’s only water-resistant so it’ll hold up in a drizzle but no torrential rain please. alright then, ’nuff said. will let the pictures do the talking.

update [4 Jan 2009]: I have been trying to find the model no. of this case but to no avail. In the comment section below, please note Kai’s experience of the LX3 not being able to fit case model Panasonic DMW- CHTZ3.
To add one more detail about the case, it actually has 3 separate internal compartments – 1 main one and 2 side ones, which even with the LX3 inside, can stash an extra battery and SD cards.
