scavengers’ fondue

1 June, 2008 § Leave a comment

Just to keep up the dessert trail lest I get buried away in the busyness of the week, we scavenged leftovers from a dreadfully long board meeting three days ago and came up with what i christened Scavengers’ Fondue – a handful of juicy strawberries and dark-red cherries accompanied by a concoction of molten liquid dark chocolate toblerone with nougat bits.

not too crummy for a late-night dinner huh? it was surprisingly filling but M gave up on the berries after awhile because of their tartiness. all the more for me. yums. last time i improvised a fondue was with a pot of Godiva chocolate sauce and a bunch of chilled bananas. not sure if this can be considered a step up.

still, who knew leftovers in the office could be so much fun.
