first movement

i seem to fall in love with the first movement of pieces:

and now tchaikovsky’s fourth symphony. it’s the melancholy perhaps. the two things that struck me whilst listening to the tchaikovsky by eugene ormandy and the philadelphia orchestra – lushness and balance. together a simply gorgeous concoction.
